Barb has always loved to create, and working with clay offers the importunity to participate fully in the act of creation. She is self taught, and has been doing pottery for 30 years.

Most of Barb's work is functional pottery fired to cone 10 in a gas fired kiln. She also experiments with Raku firings. She finds creating one of a kind pieces exciting and rewarding, and is hoping to spend more time doing this.

In the last eight years, Barb and her husband have moved to an old farmyard, and renovated a barn into a workshop and studio. "Pottery is more than just the forming of clay and making of objects. It represents ones vision and spirit, and reflects moods and experiences."
