David, as with all Raku artists develop their own unique building, glazing, and firing styles and techniques. However in the end you commit your work to the fire, flames and smoke of the reduction process. The results are sometimes very exciting and other times disappointing.
Each piece has its own unique marks, colour and character, and can never be reproduced.
Recent works by David, show his new passion for working in the "Encaustic" medium
David is a resident of the Interlake area of Manitoba. He can only produce his works in the summer months, because the firing process can only be achived in an outdoor kiln.
