Surrounded by artistic talent from birth, Jilian's sharp eye for jewellery design is no surprise. Growing up on her filmmaker father’s movie sets and attending her dramatic-mezzo mother’s operas exposed Jilian to more creativity and culture than most people get in a lifetime.
The result was a passion for the arts, and by extension, a brilliant contemporary design style that blends urban boldness with rural simplicity – a fusion of hard, geometric lines, and organic, natural shapes and textures. Her range and capacity reflect a lifetime of eclectic experiences, hard work, and consistent awareness of the world of inspirations.
This "lucky stone" inspired collection, comes from summers spent at the family cottage at Loni beach in Gimli. Each piece has been cast from a real "lucky" or as they are sometimes called "Odin's stones".
