Leslie Leslie is a self-taught artist who started designing and manufacturing jewellery at the age of fifteen.

In 1989 she began expanding her repertoire, honing her skills - cutting, welding and shaping steel. Her free-standing metal objects, animals, insects, fish, reptiles, mobiles, tables, drawers, vessels, etc. are all hand-painted with commercial metal paint.

Leslie has been commissioned to design pieces for restaurant décor and to make trophies and awards for local firms out of the natural materials she loves to work with.

She lives and works in her studio in Vancouver. Summers are spent on her boat on Lake Winnipeg, near Gimli.
