Yvonne was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba and currently resides there with her husband and two dogs.

Upon graduation from Red River Collage with a degree in Advertising Art, Yvonne was employed as a graphic designer and illustrator at a local design studio. Today Yvonne loves to spend most of her time painting but also finds pleasure in gardening and going on long walks in the country with her husband and dogs. Being close to nature everyday in some way is important for her. It brings her the peace of mind she needs to paint.

Watercolours are Yvonne’s favorite medium and her style - realistic detail - has become a trademark. Her paintings convey serenity and peacefulness of a gentler time. These are mainly reflected in scenes which show how “the simple things in life, are it’s best treasures.”
